ESSCI and SAIL Partner to Enhance STEM Education in India
In a significant step to enhance STEM education in India, the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This partnership aims to establish STEM Labs, also known as ATAL INNOVATION LABS, in schools across the country. The collaboration between ESSCI and SAIL is focused on creating advanced STEM labs that offer students hands-on learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. By promoting innovation and critical thinking, these high-tech labs are expected to play a crucial role in grooming the next generation of skilled professionals. This initiative demonstrates the commitment of ESSCI and SAIL to promote STEM education in India, preparing students for future challenges and opportunities in the ever-evolving technological landscape.
Samsung Innovation Campus Phase 2
In a significant step towards fostering tech talent across the country, Samsung has partnered with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI), signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to train 3,500 students nationwide. Samsung has launched the second season of its national skilling initiative, the Samsung Innovation Campus. This program is designed to equip young individuals with advanced skills in cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and Coding & Programming. Aimed at empowering youth aged 18-25, the initiative focuses on enhancing employability in future-tech domains. This year, the program offers even more exciting opportunities. National toppers from each domain will be awarded a cash prize of INR 1 Lakh and given the unique chance to visit Samsung's state-of-the-art facilities in Delhi/NCR, providing a deeper insight into industry operations.
ESSCI and ABB Collaboration: Smart Centre for Electrician Training
The Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) has partnered with ABB India to establish a cutting-edge smart centre for electrician training in Faridabad, Haryana. Officially launched on Tuesday, 6th August 2024, this state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to offering job-oriented courses to youth from marginalized backgrounds, equipping them with the essential skills needed to build a brighter future.
